Over an extensive career in South Africa and Australia, Annerie has gained experience in many different environmental roles and projects, including overseeing flora and fauna surveys and scientific research. Her skills in environmental science include assisting clients with biodiversity assessments, site conservation and management, environmental impact assessments, vegetation management plans, alien invasive management plans, water quality monitoring, GIS mapping, water use license applications and environmental awareness training. Annerie has worked as an ecologist in South Africa as well as an ornithologist with the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Authority. She has experience in the South African coal mine, wildlife management and field guiding industry. She has also conducted research and co-authored a scientific paper on environmental toxicology, worked as a safari guide on various game reserves, has experience in wildlife tracking, bird-ringing and has participated in collaring rhinoceroses for tracking purposes. In Australia, Annerie is fast tracking her ecological knowledge in the unique flora and fauna from many projects across Queensland and South Australia.
