Kaitlyn Cavanagh

Kaitlyn Cavanagh is an Environmental Scientist and Ecologist with over 5 years of experience conducting ecology and conservation projects within both private and government organisations. She is knowledgeable in fauna conservation biology and has delivered ecological surveys for a range of threatened species including the silver-headed antechinus, (Antechinus argenteus), Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) and flat back sea turtle (Natator depressus). Kaitlyn has previously worked as a ranger for the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) in Toowoomba and as a Wildlife Officer within the Department of Environment and Science Threatened Species Program. She has worked on DES’s South East Queensland Koala Monitoring Program for over two years which includes both the planning and delivering of koala surveys using a range of scientific survey methods.
