Regional Ecosystem Surveying and Mapping for The Fraser Coast

Redleaf Environmental was engaged by Fraser Coast Regional Council to update the Queensland Herbarium Regional Ecosystem Mapping for approximately 4,000 ha. In consultation with Council and the Queensland Herbarium, Redleaf completed Regional Ecosystem mapping to 1:25,000 scale. Regional Ecosystem surveying and mapping were undertaken as per the methods described in ‘Methodology for survey and mapping of regional ecosystems and vegetation communities in Queensland’ Version 5.0 by the Queensland Herbarium and Queensland Department of Environment and Science. Our SQP Botanists enjoyed being out in the field reviewing the ecosystems across the Fraser Coast Region. So much floristic diversity and intact habitats.
