RedLeaf provides a cost-effective means for power companies to address the environmental components of their development and maintenance programs through:

  • Flora and fauna surveys that provide key information for managing infrastructure projects. This includes the identification of threatened species and vegetation communities for projects involving both terrestrial and aquatic environments.
  • Advice on infrastructure placement and management guidelines that might be required to address industry best practise for environmental performance. This includes the development of formal species management guidelines as required by State or Commonwealth legislation (Qld Nature Conservation Act, Species Management Programs).
  • Documentation as required by both Commonwealth and State environmental regulatory authorities. We have an extensive network of personal and professional contacts which facilitates liaison and resolution of licensing and permit requirements.
  • Fauna spotter / catcher: on-site services during construction to protect and/or remove fauna from operational areas, for safe rehabilitation and release elsewhere in accordance with best practice guidelines for spotter / catcher activities and specific guidelines that may be applied to threatened species.
  • Facilitation of cultural heritage inspections and clearances including negotiation and liaison with Aboriginal traditional owner groups and the development of Cultural Heritage Management Plans.
